Buy your tickets online

We are delighted to be able to welcome you to the museum again. On this page you can reserve a timeslot for your visit.

A visit to Kunstmuseum Den Haag is just as inspiring and surprising as ever. You will need to book a time slot online so that we can spread all our visitors throughout the building, making it easier for everyone to stay 1.5 metres apart. Since 1 July visitors have once again been free to wander through the building just as architect H.P. Berlage intended when he designed it.

Although tickets are now available at the ticket office, we advise visitors to reserve a time slot, as we still have limits on our capacity. With a reservation, you can be sure of being able to visit at the time of your choice.

When we first reopened visitors could only explore the museum following one of two routes: the ‘Berlage’ route and the ‘Mondrian’ route. Now, this is only necessary at Breitner v. Israels. To prevent crowding, you may only enter the exhibition from the central hall on the first floor. You might need to wait if the exhibition is busy. Once inside, you will be required to follow a particular route, which is strictly one-way.

The Berlage route no longer exists, but you can still follow the Mondrian route if you wish. This route, which focuses on artistic pioneers and adventurers, takes in the following exhibitions: A.R. Penck - How It Works, Navid Nuur - I Am Because of You, Mondrian & De Stijl and Lucassen. You can pick up a guide for the Mondrian route at the information desk.

Royal Blue is not quite complete at the moment. Fortunately, however, there are many beautiful items on display, including our recently acquired rare flower pyramids. We regret to inform you that Royal Blue will be closed on 21 and 22 July. If you are coming to Kunstmuseum Den Haag specially for this exhibition, we advise you to postpone your visit until after the 22nd. Read more about this extraordinary exhibition here.

If you have ordered a ticket and are unable to come to the museum, please let us know in time (at least 48 hours before your visit) via Even if you have free access through your ICOM card or Museum card. By canceling in time, you'll give another person a chance to visit the museum!
