Mart Visser: Haute Couture
Retrospective of work by Dutch couturier Mart Visser (b. 1969). The items on display date from the period between 1993 and 2003 and will be drawn from private collections, including that of the couturier, as well as from the Gemeentemuseum’s own collection. They will also include wonderful pieces on loan from clients of Mart Visser, many of whom are well-known public figures. The exhibition will also feature accessories, design drawings, photographs and video recordings of haute couture shows. It will be accompanied by a splendid book published by Ludion (in mid-April) and authored by fashion writer Fiona Hering.
