Workshop Program

  • Come to the museumatelier during the opening and THINK LOVE. Create a mixed media collage on canvas using high-fashion images from Vogue, inspired by the artist duo Inez & Vinoodh. Make surprising combinations of text and photographs, and mix art, commerce, and love into an amazingly contemporary image. Of course, whatever you create goes home with you.

What: Ongoing visual arts activity for adults
    Location: KM museumatelier
Duration: Maximum of 30 minutes of hands-on creative work per participant

  • Get to work behind a professional easel, surrounded by paintings by Lois Dodd. See the world through her eyes and draw an impression with chalk on paper. It could be a detail in the landscape, such as a bee on a flower, a sheet hanging on a line, or raindrops on a windowpane. What do you see when you look outside through the window? With individual guidance from a museum educator, you will create your own artwork—which, of course, you can take home.

What: Ongoing drawing workshop for adults
Location: Lois Dodd exhibition (last two halls)
Duration: 20 minutes of drawing per participant
