Since the late 1960s, Wolf Vostell presented himself in the traditional appearance of a Hasidic Jew. At Kunstmuseum Den Haag's request, the artist Joseph Sassoon Semah (1948) has reflected on the issue of Vostell’s supposed Jewish identity in a series of drawings and an accompanying text.
