Visiting the museum safely

Are you wondering whether you can visit Kunstmuseum Den Haag? It goes without saying that we are doing everything we can to ensure you have a safe and pleasant experience. All visitors aged 13 and over must wear a face mask in the museum.

Free face masks are available at the entrance for anyone who has forgotten to bring their own. They have been supplied by Vadercentrum ADAM, which organises activities for residents of The Hague’s Laak neighbourhood. One of their activities is making face masks.

One aspect of visiting the museum that has remained unchanged is that you will need to buy a ticket in advance via our website or by phone, and book a time slot for your visit. The guidelines issued by public health agency RIVM and the Museums Association apply at the museum. Read more about the measures we have taken to ensure that visiting the museum is safe here

Please note: The Grand Café in our Garden Gallery, and our restaurant Gember in the GEM/Museum of Photography building are closed from Thursday 15 October as a result of national Covid measures. No food or drink may be consumed in the museum.
