Collection images

Use of images
Images of objects in our collection are available free of charge for non-commercial uses such as research, teaching, inclusion in non-profit publications, publication on personal websites, etc.  However, charges are made for use of such images in commercial publications, media products or merchandise for e.g. business or other gifts.

* Where works of art are subject to copyright, the relevant rights must be observed.

Copyright
The Kunstmuseum Den Haag manages a collection of 160,000 objects. Some of these objects are subject to copyright.

The Kunstmuseum has sought to trace all holders of copyrights on the works of art reproduced in the photographic images in its online collection. Should you nevertheless come across unauthorized online images of a work on which you hold copyright, please contact us via info@kunstmuseum.nl.

If you are given or purchase a photograph of an object in the collection of the Kunstmuseum, responsibility for copyright compliance rests with you. Where images are published by third parties, the Kunstmuseum declines all liability in case of claims by rights holders.
