Embark on an adventure and play the game

Art is for everyone and the Kunstuseum is for all ages. Explore the Chambers of Wonder and get lost in art, fashion and design in spectacularly created rooms. For children aged 9 and over, the museum game is ready to be discovered, played and experienced. Still a little too young? Then get the activity sheet “The Labyrinth” from the Wonder Desk and wander through the maze together with fun look-and-do tasks.

An educational activity for the whole family

Experience a day of creativity and discovery together at Kunstmuseum Den Haag! Chambers of Wonder offers a unique, interactive experience where children are playfully introduced to art, fashion and design. And the best part? Children up to 18 years old can enter for free. An educational and affordable outing for the whole family!

Play the game

Pair up with a tablet in hand for an adventure and complete the various tasks in the Chambers of Wonder. Dance with Mondrian, discover what art is worth, play the all-new Chamber of Wonder Dress Up or get dressed up in the room On the Catwalk.

Explore the labyrinth

There are 13 Wonder Rooms full of surprises to discover. Choose a few or play them all! Save some energy for the end, because in the labyrinth the quest begins. Here, all favourite artworks are collected on the tablet and form the basis for a Chamber of Wonder to create yourself. The completed design gets a place in the labyrinth.

Discover and learn

Get to know more about not only art but also yourself in our Chambers of Wonder. What is beautiful, ugly, surprising or special to you becomes clear in a playful way. Chambers of Wonders connects to the world of children and young people, with themes such as fashion, abstract art and photography. A place to look, do and experience.

Good to know:

  • Chambers of Wonder is suitable for children from 9 years old onwards due to the necessary reading skills. Of course, younger children are also welcome to participate in Wonder Rooms.
  • From 13 years onwards, children may play without adult supervision, provided the adult remains in the museum and can be reached by phone.
